Welcome to Lightbridge Academy of Bergenfield. We are a New Jersey based franchise company owned and operated by Kal Patel. My name is Amanda Ferentinos, and I am the Director of the Bergenfield location. I joined the Lightbridge Academy family with my bachelor’s degree in psychology and K-5 NJ teaching certificate. I join this team with over 10 years of experience in the field ranging from classroom to administrative. Through intentional support and expressions of appreciation, I aim to foster a workplace where teachers feel acknowledged and respected, ultimately promoting long-term retention at Lightbridge Academy. I am proud to be a part of this special family not only as the Center Director, but also as a parent, and look forward to welcoming you as well.
Our Lightbridge Academy Circle of Care is more than just a philosophy and our core values are more than just a poster on the wall. They are built on a foundation of family values, and you can trust that the Lightbridge Academy staff strives to be living examples of these every day. Our entire staff is committed to supporting you as parents, making your life less stressful and providing the highest quality of care in an interactive and fun learning environment. We understand how important it is for you to feel connected to your child throughout the day and we do our best to promote the most open lines of communication. Through various e-tools such as the Lightbridge Journey app, which enables us to track developmental milestones, and send home daily reports, videos and pictures highlighting special moments we can truly make you part of our daily interactions.
Every moment is a learning moment at Lightbridge Academy, and it shows! Our curriculum is designed to help infants, toddlers and preschool children meet key developmental milestones but that’s not all! We also incorporate American Sign Language into our daily routines. Our Singing Sprouts music program fosters music appreciation in even our youngest learners. Interactive Whiteboard Technology makes learning come alive in our Pre-K classrooms.
