Welcome to Lightbridge Academy of Flemington! Thank you for taking some time to inquire into all that we have to offer both you and your family. We understand how important it is for parents to find and choose loving care, and an educationally sound school for their children. My name is Alicia Hopkins, and I am the Director of Lightbridge Academy of Flemington. I have my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and have over 24 years of experience in the Early Childhood Education field. I am the mother of a Junior in college and twins that are Juniors in High School. I truly appreciate and have a heart for the needs of all parents and recognize the importance of providing nurturing care and education for children. Our assistant director, Laura Gimson has been with us for 6 years. She started out as our Administrative Assistant and was promoted in June 2020! She comes to us with over 10 years of experience as a teacher and has a 5-year-old daughter and a 1-year-old son of her own. At Lightbridge Academy of Flemington, your child will be nurtured and cared for in a positive and interactive learning environment. We offer extended day educational programs, for children 6 weeks through Pre-K, year-round. We also offer a Summer Camp program for children up to 12 years old. Upon visiting us, you will have the opportunity to learn about our Parent View Internet Monitoring and biometric finger scanning, which provide our families with the sense of security that they deserve. You will see, firsthand, how we keep parents connected to their children, throughout the day, by using iPads, in our classrooms, to send daily reports, pictures and videos of the children. We will also provide you with a demonstration of our interactive white boards. Our spacious indoor gym and turf playground are also a must see!
