Toddler program curriculum
Our child care center’s educational school programs for 1- and 2-year olds cater to your toddler’s early learning readiness cues. Toddler classrooms focus on center-based learning that builds on the skills they learn in this important developmental phase, and get them ready to transition into our preschool programs. We use age-appropriate puzzles, games, and toys to encourage development in these areas:

Creative Arts and Music
Music, repetition, and movement are infused into group time and transitions, while textures and design fuel your child’s imagination and encourage them to explore.
Physical and Well-Being
Toddlers are always on the move. Through walking and running, they’re gaining control over small and large muscles, fine-tuning their movements, and carving out their very own paths.
Language and Literacy
As every parent knows, toddlers always have something to say. Their muscle control and cognitive advancements make for very interesting conversations as we encourage them to express their thoughts and needs.
Mathematics and Science
Teachers use counting, patterning, and matching colors and shapes to provide an early foundation for science and math concepts.
Social and Emotional Well-Being
Independence shines through as toddlers choose friends and delight in pleasing adults. Our teachers use positive reinforcement to encourage good behavior and keep learning fun.
Cognitive Skills
Cognitive progression in toddlers means less trial and error, and more deliberate actions. They’ll also begin to develop a longer attention span and a preference for particular people, places, and things.
