Thank you for taking some time to inquire into all that we have to offer both you and your family. We understand how important it is for parents to find and choose loving care and an educationally sound school for their children. My name is Rebecca Foufas and I am the Director of Lightbridge Academy of Yardley. I began my career with Lightbridge Academy as an Lead Teacher in our Preschool classroom before becoming Assistant Director, and now the Center Director. I have a B.S. in Therapeutic Recreation from Temple University, a M.S. in Clinical Psychology from Capella University, and an M.S. in Applied Behavioral Analysis also from Capella University. I previously worked in the behavioral health field, focusing on managing student behaviors both at school and at home prior to joining the Lightbridge Academy team. I live local to our center with my husband and our two daughters – my youngest is enrolled here at Lightbridge Academy of Yardley. Rounding out our administrative team is our Administrative Assistant, Katie Dorff. Katie joined the Lightbridge Academy team in September of 2022 as an Assistant Teacher and was promoted to Lead Teacher in November 2024. She lives local to our school and is a mom to three children currently enrolled in our school. Katie has a true passion and understanding of the importance of early childhood education, making her a vital part of our team!

At Lightbridge Academy of Yardley, your child will be nurtured and cared for in a positive and interactive learning environment. We offer extended day educational programs, for children 6 weeks through Pre-K, year round. We invite you to visit us, and see for yourself, how our Circle of Care Philosophy and Core Values are incorporated into each and every day. We recognize our children, families, staff, and investors as unique individuals who deserve the utmost respect. Our center also offers state of the art technology including a facial recognition system for entry, interactive boards, ParentView camera monitoring, and the Lightbridge Journey App; our e-communication system. These tools all help us reach our goal of keeping parents connected to our center and to their child throughout the day. We strive to meet the needs of our working families as well as our stay-at-home moms/dads who are looking for a program that will offer early education and socialization for their children on a part time basis. To do so, we offer our families flexibility in programming, ranging from 2, 3 or 5 days per week for children ages 6 weeks through Preschool/Pre-K.
