We’re committed to providing you with the franchisee training you need to get your new center up and running as smoothly as possible. Your pre-opening training will include three weeks of our comprehensive Lightbridge Leadership training. Franchise owners are required to attend all three sessions, along with their center director and assistant director. Our franchise training is broken down into three distinct tracks:
Building a Strong Foundation
This week-long virtual training session covers everything you need to know about the real estate process, including site selection, lease negotiations, and market analysis. You’ll also begin developing your proforma during this time.
Launching to Success
Visit our home office in Iselin, New Jersey, for a week of in-depth training on our launch process. You’ll learn about your marketing plan, building brand awareness in your area, and how to staff your center. We’ll also review your proforma and enrollment goals.
Operating with Excellence
Your session will be a week of hands-on training at an operational Lightbridge Academy location. During this time, we’ll set up your business plan and goals, take a deep dive into franchise leadership, and establish roles and responsibilities.
During our training for franchisees, you’ll also learn all you need to know about our proprietary curriculum and establishing a Circle of Care culture within your business. You’ll gain a deep understanding of how to manage your child care franchise on a daily basis, regardless of if you have a background in early childhood education.
Lightbridge Academy franchise owners receive ongoing support for the life of their franchise. You’ll have access to our training portal and be paired with a dedicated franchise business coach to help you grow your business. We’ll also connect you with other franchise owners in our network, giving you access to a community of people who’ve been where you are who are ready to help.
In addition, events like Town Hall, Marketing Huddle, Operations Power Hour and our annual owner’s conference will give you regular opportunities to connect with and learn from others in the Lightbridge Academy community.
